Our Client, a Global Fortune 500 company, has a history of more than 100 years of leadership and innovation in the core high-technology sectors of communications, computers and electronic components. The firm has its own intellectual Assets. These assets include a broad

In APAC, there is a requirement to find a CEO for the Asia Pacific region. While one of the requirements would be to increase revenue, the other would be to reduce losses that is getting larger and is not in line with the revenue growth.


Responsibilities

Reporting to the President of the company in Paris and based in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur or Penang) or Singapore, the successful candidate has full P&L responsibilities for the business and is responsible for directing and spearheading the company to attain the financial and operational objectives set by the President. This will involve developing a clear vision, setting the business strategy and providing leadership to the management team.


This individual should be a disciplined, dynamic and matured leader who will improve the organization's rigor in forecasting, planning and execution. He should be culturally adaptable and has seasoned broad peoples' skills. While there is a need to continue growing the business, there will be requirements to critically review the business performance in each of the geography in the region and aligning cost to revenue of the business in the region.


Professional Experience

  • Proven leader with P&L management experience in technology and IT related business, exposure to organizational changes(s)/management and broad exposure to strategic planning, tactical business operations, change management, and re-engineering processes.

  • An experienced leader with a strong track record of achievements in growing companies / businesses, and should have strong links and networks in the Asia Pacific region.

  • Experience of financial management including budget formulation and rigorous financial monitoring / control.

  • Experience of prioritizing and targeting resources to meet a multiplicity of competing demands.

  • Experience of building and sustaining effective and productive working relationships with a wide range of people and organizations and working across organizational boundaries.

  • Strong anchor in sales & marketing skills in the consumer and commercial channel segments.

  • Strong leadership, strategy oriented, aptitude, and a hands-on, entrepreneurial business approach.

  • Passion, drive, integrity and the desire to succeed.

  • This individual must be a strong communicator who can act as a key spokesperson for the organization to industry, media, analysts, investors, key partnerships and alliances, and other influential parties.

  • 20+ years’ experience ideally in FMCG
